Alan from Photos4Sale spent the best part of the day — and night — hiding in bushes, lurking on corners and generally making Blue Lake look far more professional than it actually is.

If you spotted a suspicious bloke with a camera somewhere in the scrub… that was probably him.

Go have a look, find your mug and relive whatever questionable decisions you made around the lake.

Crew Blue Lake 24hr Challenge 2026 out! What a year!

To all of the runners, walkers and supporters who made BL24hr what it was this year, thank you.

We can honestly say 99.9% of you were awesome. 😆

We will tally the laps over the next week, but from early eye-ometer figures, it looks like well over 1000 did at least a lap, some
34…..

The biggest thanks needs to go to these clowns, Kurt, Sarah, Ash, Sean and Mike. The countless hours they spend making this weekend what it is is a year round job. And they simply do it because they are GCs. So here is to a well earned rest before 2027! 😍

🏆 And the Claw has been claimed, Simon takes it home for another year, what a legend…. It was a fiercely contested category this year with Troy not far behind.

There is a rumour the Claw will now be one lap further next year. 😆

The car park at the Reserve is full (unless 4x4). Please park in the DOC car park when you arrive on the left.
