Tēnā koutou katoa,
E ngā mana, e ngā reo, e ngā karangatanga maha, tēnā koutou katoa.
On behalf of the entire CrossFit Te Arawa whānau, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who was part of Double Trouble 2026.
To our athletes, ngā mihi nui ki a koutou. Thank you for your commitment, determination, and the incredible wairua you brought to the competition floor. Whether it was your first competition or your fiftieth, you represented yourselves, your partners, your gyms, and your whānau with pride. The encouragement, camaraderie, and manaakitanga shown throughout the day were outstanding and a true reflection of what our CrossFit community is all about.
To our judges, volunteers, scorekeepers, MCs, setup crew, pack-down crew, and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, tēnā rawa atu koutou. Your contribution made this event possible. Events like DT26 are built on the generosity of people willing to give their time, energy, and expertise for the benefit of others. We are deeply grateful for your tautoko and commitment.
To the coaches, supporters, whānau, tamariki, and spectators who filled the venue with energy and encouragement, thank you for helping create such an amazing atmosphere. Your cheers, support, and positivity lifted athletes through every workout and helped make the day one to remember.
A special thank you also goes to our sponsors, solidstrength.co.nz, lskd.co, and froggrips.com.au. Your generosity and support helped us provide an even better experience for our athletes and volunteers. We sincerely appreciate your contribution to the success of Double Trouble 2026 and your support of the wider CrossFit community.
At CrossFit Te Arawa, we are proud of the kaupapa we have built together—a community where people are challenged, supported, encouraged, and celebrated regardless of age, ability, or experience. DT26 was a fantastic reflection of that kaupapa and of what can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose.
We acknowledge that no event is
ever perfect, and there will always be lessons to take forward. However, today was a wonderful reminder of the strength of our community, the value of service, and the power of people coming together to support one another.
Nā reira, tēnā koutou, tēnā koutou, tēnā koutou katoa.
Haere pai atu ki ō koutou kāinga. Travel safely, recover well, and we hope to see you all again at a future CrossFit Te Arawa event.
Mauri ora.
Ngā mihi nui,
W***y Taite
