Our Story
Rotarian's from the Rotary Club of Richmond are a group of people who like to have fun and help out in the community. Profits from the Nelson Wine and Food Festival help build the cycle-paths, BBQ shelters at Rabbit Island and organise
To date we have raised $360,000.00 from the Wine and Food Festival. Proceeds are then donated to community groups like the Rescue Helicopter, Hospice, Womens Refuge, Coastguard, local Fire brigades as well as local sporting groups and schools. In 2018 our main recipient will be The Nelson Hospice, come along and join us in raising money for this worthy cause.
The Nelson Wine & Food Festival is at the same location as previous festivals - Middle Earth Vineyards -Bryant Road - Brightwater - Sunday 18th February 2018 - 11am to 5pm Soak up the sunshine and sounds of entertaining local bands while enjoying a great choice of food, craft beers, cider and Nelson wines. Make sure you bring along seat and some shade !!
