Multisport, ½ Marathon, Duathlon x2 events using the Rakaia River Have some fun; go to http://www.thesalmonrun.nz for distances and more information.

Saturday 16th October 2021 is a must do for multisporters, duathletes, runners (three distances), walkers and off road bikers. Something for everyone utilising the Rakaia River and riverbed; individual or teams, competitive or non competitive - long and short races for duathlons and runs.

Thank you to everyone for supporting the 10th Edition of the Jackson Holmes Salmon Run Event! We hope you all had an epic day out there while racing under some challenging conditions!

We are looking forward to your 2026 event and we can’t wait to see you all back on that start line!

The Bike-Kayak Transition is looking absolutely picture perfect ahead of tomorrow’s event!

We hope you are all as excited as we are to be toeing the start line for the first race of spring!

Just a wee reminder that all the information relating to tomorrows events can be found on the website under ‘Athlete Guides’… This includes some transition maps and support crew info… if you can’t find the answer to your question after reading this please don’t hesitate to send us a message!

We hope everyone gets a good nights sleep tonight and we are looking forward ti seeing you all on the start line tomorrow!

A Decision has been made… pull out those pencil thin race kayaks… we are running COURSE B on Saturday 11th October!

This decision has not been made lightly but we are excited to bring you such a unique event!

The Course B Athletes Guide is just under going some final touches and will be available online very soon! In the meantime please familiarise yourself with the course by watching the video!

Our committee has been had at work planning a 'B' Course for the Multisport Event... This means if the NorWest takes control of the River and the Flow is too high we will still be able to deliver you an epic Multisport Event!
