What a week we’ve had, Tim Hagen.

Knowing still hasn’t caught up with reality — so sudden was your passing, bro.

We spoke only briefly last week; you were smiling, ready to head off fishing around the coast. We smiled and waved, and I remember thinking, “I can’t wait to get to know this guy.”

What a loss, my bro.
The lineup just didn’t feel the same without you out there yesterday.

So much aroha to everyone — your Whānau, your friends, your people.

I got to know you a little more today, surf into that setting sun!
