If there’s one thing worth making a big deal about, it’s your people. ✨

For the Noel Leeming team, the gala dinner was the chance to do exactly that.

After a full day connecting with suppliers, exploring new ideas and having important conversations at the Noel Leeming Supplier Expo, the evening was all about celebrating. A chance to recognise the people behind the hard work, the wins and everything that had been achieved together.

The best gala dinners are about more than a beautiful room and a great meal. They create a moment to pause. To celebrate. To make people feel seen. And to remind everyone why the work they do matters.

Proud of what’s been achieved. Connected to the people around them. And excited for what comes next.

Duane recently got back from doing the hard yards in Thailand…

He headed over for TIME 2026, Thailand Innovative Meetings Exchange, getting amongst the Knowledge Exchange, meeting plenty of brilliant industry people and, naturally, doing a little first-hand research into what makes a destination experience actually work.

A bit of learning. A lot of conversations. Some very good local experiences. And at least one cabaret show by the looks of things. 😂

The best ideas usually come from getting out there, seeing what others are doing and bringing a few fresh ones home with you.

A great conference should never feel like three days in the same room…

For Noel Leeming, it was a journey packed with connection, celebration and innovation. We kicked things off with an intimate breakfast recognising Craig Bull and Shaun Barns past award winners, brought the energy into large-scale conference sessions, welcomed delegates to the Noels Arcade Welcome Party, then flipped the format with a Supplier Exhibition featuring more than 60 suppliers. Along the way, there were countless opportunities to connect, collaborate and share ideas, before finishing on a high with a very special gala dinner celebrating the people behind the success.

Different moments. Different energy. All designed to do the same thing: bring 500+ people together and make the whole experience feel worth being part of. 💚

And just like that, it was a wrap on the Noel Leeming Conference 2026.

And that’s how you kick off a multi-day conference. 🎮

A welcome party to remember, complete with Sims, Pac-Man, Mario Kart and some seriously committed dress-ups.

After a day spent in conference rooms, listening, learning and sharing ideas, it was time to connect. Bringing 200+ people together, breaking the ice and creating the right atmosphere for the days ahead was where the real magic began.

A little nostalgia, a lot of laughs and plenty of questionable costume choices.

The energy was up, the costumes were out, and we were officially off. 💚

We recently wrapped up the Noel Leeming Conference across four incredible Auckland venues: Park Hyatt Auckland, Viaduct Events Centre, Shed 10 and QT Auckland Hotel.

With more than 500 guests across a few very full days, this one was all about creating a smooth, engaging conference experience from arrival through to the final session.

As always, plenty was happening behind the scenes to make everything feel effortless for the people in the room. Programme flow, guest experience, venue coordination, production, timings and all the little details in between.

A huge thank you to the teams at Park Hyatt Auckland, Viaduct Events Centre, Shed 10 and QT Auckland Hotel for being such incredible partners throughout. Your support, flexibility and attention to detail helped bring this event to life from start to finish. Great events are always a team effort, and working with people who care just as much about the guest experience makes all the difference.

Another Noel Leeming Conference in the books. Thanks for trusting us to bring everything to life!

Here’s the BTS of what a conference in Adelaide looks like. 👀

Nicky, Duane and Brooke were on the ground for Envoyage 2026, bringing together days of registrations, conference sessions, supplier showcases, a gala dinner and a Longview Winery long lunch.

The bit guests see? Everything is running as it should.

The bit they don’t? Early starts, venue checks, run sheets, rehearsals, transfers, pack ins, pack downs and a Motive team keeping approximately 47 things moving at once.

All in a few days’ work. 💚

A little Bali inspiration, courtesy of Andaz Bali. 🌴

Duane recently spent time in Sanur on a semi-hosted stay with the Andaz Bali team, getting a firsthand look at the property and what it can offer corporate groups.

Think flexible meeting spaces, lush courtyards, beachfront events, beautiful dining and plenty of opportunities to take the programme beyond four walls.

For us, trips like this are about experiencing a destination properly. Seeing how the spaces flow, understanding what works for groups and meeting the people who would help bring an event or incentive to life.

A huge thank you to the Andaz Bali team for looking after Duane so brilliantly and sharing so much of the property with him. We loved getting to know what you can offer our clients. 💚
