🎉🎉🎉Well it’s what you all have been waiting for! 🎉🎉🎉
Please read all of the info and familiarise yourself with the requirements!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Annual Pirongia Craft Day is SUNDAY 27th September 2026, 9am to 3pm. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
INFORMATION FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO APPLY TO HAVE A STALL FOR 2026.
Even if you have had a stall at Craft Day before you still need to read this and submit an application. Every year the Committee decide together who will be able to come, so that we get a mix of different items or products. We welcome new stallholders!
If you wish to have a stall at Craft Day 2026, please read the information below very carefully. If you do not meet the criteria outlined, please do not apply. We are very specific about the types of products we allow to be sold at Annual Pirongia Craft Day – it is NOT a weekend market, it has a very unique character and excellent reputation which we as a Committee will strive to uphold!
⭐️ Items must be strictly NZ HANDMADE or HOMEGROWN. No imports. No second-hand items. No commercial or mass-produced items.
⭐️ The person who sells the product needs to be a person directly involved in the making of the product, i.e: you cannot be selling something your uncle or cousin in Wellington makes!
⭐️ NO raffles (apart from Pirongia Rural Fire Force) and NO lucky dips.
⭐️ Stall sites are approx. 3.5m x 3.5m. You are required to bring your own gazebo, tables, chairs etc. You are also required to come prepared for ANY weather or terrain and have the necessary items to hold your gazebo steady (e.g. sandbags or water containers) or your tables level (e.g. blocks)
💵 The cost this year is $200 per stall.💵
🍪🍭🍦🍩FOOD STALLS 🍩🍦🍭🍪
are offered ONLY to local non-profit community groups, as an opportunity for them to fundraise for their organisation, e.g: Plunket, Playcentre, Girl Guides, Scouts.
All stall expressions of interest are discussed and decided upon by the Committee at our monthly meetings.
We endeavour to have a wide variety of items for sale. As there is a HUGE demand for stall sites we suggest you get your expression of interest in fast!
How to apply: ONLY IF YOU MEET ALL OF THE ABOVE CRITERIA, send:
⭐️ A detailed explanation of the art/ craft you make
⭐️ Photos of the finished product
⭐️ Proof you have physically made it yourself (maybe a picture of your studio, items in the process of being made, or you yourself hard at work creating!)
⭐️ PLEASE ALSO SEND your postal address so you can be sent a Registration Form if your expression of interest is accepted.
Email this information to our Registrar, Chrissy: [email protected]
Our Committee will meet, and read all expressions of interest. Successful applicants will then be sent a Registration Form. Your site will be secured ONLY once your Registration Form (and payment) have been returned.
If your initial expression of interest is declined, we will endeavor to reply to your email and explain the reason for this decision – however this is not always possible due to the sheer number of applications we get (it’s a big job and we are all volunteers with busy lives!). Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to receiving your expressions of interest!
