Annual Pirongia Craft Day Annual Pirongia Craft Day will be held on Sunday 27 September 2026, 9am-3pm The Annual Pirongia Craft Day is held in Pirongia’s main street, Franklin Street.

It is organized by a volunteer committee of dedicated local arts and craftspeople who endeavor to keep the original theme of "NZ Handmade or Homegrown". The road is closed from 6am when over 200 pre-allocated and paid for sites will be set up. Stallholders are “open for business” from 9 am to 3 pm creating a unique vibrant, friendly village atmosphere. The road re-opens at 4 pm. Come along for a fabulous day out - please leave dogs at home, thanks:)

A HUGE heartfelt thank you to everyone who braved the weather today and came along to the Annual Pirongia Craft Day! 🌧️

The APCD Committee is truly overflowing with gratitude to everyone who helped make the day such a wonderful success! 🥰

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible stallholders – you’re the heart and soul of this event, and we absolutely love having you with us year after year! ❤️

A very special thank you to the amazing team at PGF Transport for so generously providing the curtainsider for our stage. You’re absolute legends and we couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌

We’re also incredibly grateful to our dedicated volunteers, talented entertainers, and wonderful local community who all came together to make the day so memorable.

🌧️ Even though the weather didn’t completely come to the party, you did!

Now it’s time for our committee to put our feet up, rest and recharge… before we do it all again in 2027! 🎉
