Evening just thought I would put up a post as Margaret Bremner nee Fawley, has passed away Friday 17th 2026 age 88.
I felt a few of the ex-pupils would like to know.
In accordance with Margaret's wishes a private cremation has been held. Messages can be sent to P. O. Box 110, Blenheim 7240. More details are on the Marlborough App.
My memory of Miss Fawley as I knew her, when attending Queen Charlotte College, Picton New Zealand was how strict she was and I was a little bit scared of her, but when I did have the privilege of having her as an English teacher, she was amazing.
When Margaret joined the Sweet Adeline chorus, I found at first it was rather difficult to call her by her first name, Margaret. She certainly put me at ease, and I so enjoyed her sense of humor and her talent playwright.
