We’ve created a special segment for the NZ Road Champs taking in the Registry Hill

Feilding Moa in conjunction with Nick and the team at Shoe Clinic Palmy will provide a pair of 30th Anniversary Edition Asics Kayanos to the best Male and Female athlete time on this segment that is achieved on race day.

Conditions:

1. Time recorded on the Strava app must be on the 10th September 2023.
2. Fastest male and fastest female time as at the completion of racing on the 10th Sept and seen on the Strava app will win the shoes.
3. Winners will be notified on the day and can arrange shoe sizing with the team at Shoe Clinic Palmerston North.
4. Strava segment link is below - segment starts and the bottom of the hill and finishes at the crest of the hill - the finish of the segment will be signified by Shoe Clinic tear drop flags on race day.
5. In order to qualify for the prize the athlete must finish the race in which they are entered.

A pair of shoes👟worth $350 is up for grabs for the King and Queen of the Hill at the 2023 New Zealand 🇳🇿 Road Championships in Palmerston North on Sunday 10 September.

The special prize will be awarded to the fastest man and woman to climb up the 380m (average 4.4% gradient) Registry Hill segment, which forms part of the 2km loop the athletes will be running 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The current record climbs belong to Andre Le Pine-Day at 1:12 and Laura Nagel at 1:28. All times recorded via Strava 💥

Julia Wallace Retirement Village will also generously provide gift 🎁baskets to the fastest male and female masters athletes - in the 50-59 age group and +60 years age group - up Registry Hill.
