Don’t forget subs are now due for the season…

Tractor code will be changed in the next few weeks so avoid the last minute panic (or early morning text to a committee member) and click on the link below to get paid up 😉

We’re also scheduling some tractor inductions so if you’re keen to become a member and use our awesome 4 x 4 tractors get registered now so you’re ready to hit the water!

Reminder, during big tides please be mindful of other beach users and either disconnect your trailer from tow vehicle/tractor and park side by side or park parallel to dunes to allow access down the beach.

Here’s to a great season, remember life jackets rules have changed so please comply and stay safe.

Forecast is shaping up for the weekend and its prime time big snapper season!

To do list:
•Pre launch boat and trailer service/once over
•Check life jackets, vhf, EPIRB, Coastguard membership all working and current
•Pay club membership and tractor subs
•Buy some new jigs, leaders, clips (and anything else that catches the eye) from our sponsoring partners
•Hint to the better half there “looks like a good weather window on the way, any plans this weekend?”

Awesome to see Mr and Mrs President Blair Bregmen Jandy Hughes and club member Graham Rankin taking to sea with Coastguard Kapiti Coast….beaut day for it!

Seasons almost upon us so make sure you’ve got a current membership with Coastguard, all the safety gear in working order and are up to date with the regs (up to 6m boats, life jackets etc just about passed in Parliament )

Come along on Sunday 27 September 2026 for our Annual General Meeting, 2.00pm at the clubrooms.

The AGM is an important opportunity to hear club updates, review the Club’s financial position, and discuss plans for the year ahead.

Your participation is vital to the ongoing success of our Club. Whether you’re interested in a committee role or simply want to support by attending, we encourage all members to come along.

Light refreshments will be provided after the meeting.
