Morning everyone.

We have been working on a logo/brand to represent the event.

Simple and easily transferable to clothing/merch. Says what it is, with some subtle concepts and representations.

GR initials represent the Gravel Rush but is also symbolic of the GRAVEL scene.

Black and Tan colours represent the popular skin/tan-wall Gravel tyres.

The local terrain is represented with Kopuwai/obelisk present however also represents the annoying bit of gravel stuck in your tyre tread.

The subtle pulse represents the effort, the endorphin rush and being alive.

Thanks to Gavin Key for helping get the concepts nailed.

So tonight was the inaugural meeting about what could be one of the coolest gravel events in NZ.
