Shop open for some great club merchandise - check them out

The Athletics Nelson online merchandise store is open for preorder.

We’ve been working with Oliver from OS2 to refresh our offerings so we hope you like what we’ve done!

Order notes:

Pre-Order Window: The shop will be open until 8:00 PM on November 6th, 2026.

Delivery: Orders are expected to be delivered to the club approximately 4-6 weeks from the store closing date. Kit out your family for Christmas 🎄

Customisation: is available on some items. Enter details in the appropriate field. If left blank, nothing will be printed.

Sizing: Please check the size charts on the product pages carefully, as we cannot exchange garments once the order has been placed.

Final note: these items are all optional! Official club singlets and tshirts for competition are available at Thursday club nights or most Saturday runs.

Wednesday - Smugglers Spring 5km race 2
Meet at Smugglers, Muratai Street Tahuna. Different course each week, open to everyone from beginners to the serious athlete. $5 entry fee, (14 & under free). 6.00pm start enter on the night - heaps of spot prizes. NOTE: arrive early to register, bit of a walk to start line. Race two will be the every undulating Port Hills course. Don't miss this one, bring a friend along and enjoy the run/walk together. Everyone is welcome and a great way to get out and compete with other walkers and runners, also great training for the Nelson Half. Congratulations
To our senior men's team who competed in the New Zealand Road Relay Champs in Fielding last weekend. They finished a fantastic 12th in a super competitive field in one of the biggest categories of the day. Next year's event is being held on the classic Takahe to Akaroa course in Christchurch it will be great to get lots of Athletics Nelson teams down to take part in this resurrected iconic event.

Saturday - The Beach Run
Join us for this popular fun event at Tahuna, taking in Tahuna Beach, Back Beach and Tahuna Trails. Everyone is very welcome both runners and walkers. You can choose 1 lap - 2 laps - 3 laps all off road and lots of fun.
- Meet at Beach Cafe Tahuna across the road from Natureland
- Start 2.30pm for everyone
- Juniors most welcome
This is one of the favourite winter runs for many runners and walker. Each lap is approximately 2.0km
