🔥 That’s a wrap — Rock The Steps ‘26 🔥

What a night. What a crowd. What a place.

As the sun dropped behind the hills and the lights came up over the Silvan Steps Amphitheatre, something pretty special happened. Guitars rang out across the valley, fire danced beside the stage, and a sea of people moved together under the night sky — all looking out over the bay, Golden Nelson. 🌅🎸🔥

There’s something unique about a gig on that hillside.
The energy.
The connection.
The spirit of a community showing up for live music.

From the first note to the final encore, the vibe was electric — families, friends, old-school rock fans and first-timers all sharing the same space, the same sound, the same moment. 🤘

This is what Rock The Steps is all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported the bands, backed the event, volunteered their time, and helped make the night what it was. You made the hill come alive. 🙌

A post of gratitude and reflection…

I Love you, I love Nelson, I Love art.

Thank you for the most positive vibes. Everyone who was involved was a true blessing for myself and the community. For all the people who were here on Saturday in physical and in spirit words can’t describe how important you are… only a festival can.

You are all in my heart as I finish off the last of this pack down and soak in the feelings of pure gratitude.

Thank you all for this amazing feeling and I’m genuinely excited to go again!

I cannot wait to see you all at the next one.

Here’s everything you need to know before you arrive:

🚌 Getting There
Be parked at the Saxton Field, Velodrome ready for the first shuttle from 2pm
Shuttles will run continuously throughout the day

🎶 Event Timing
Opening ceremony: 3:30pm
Live music rolling right through into the night 🌙🔥

🪑 What to Bring
✔️ Sun hat, sun cream
✔️ Cushion, blanket or small foldable chair (festival chair)

🚫 What Not to Bring
No alcohol or food. This is not a BYO event.
No glass
No large furniture or umbrellas
