📢 Important Update on the T42 Event

After over a decade of unforgettable adventures on the trails, we’ve had to make a tough call regarding the future of the T42 event. With the 42 Traverse track still severely impacted and ongoing financial challenges, we won’t be moving forward with the event for the foreseeable future. We know this news may come as a disappointment, but we hope you’ll understand how we arrived at this decision.

We truly appreciate all the love and support from the amazing Total Sport community over the years. 🙏

🚨MTBers & Marathoners.. this ones for you 🚨

Just so there's no surprises on the day, we wanted to remind you that this year is the 2024 Adventure Edition!

The bypass around the slip will require you to dismount from you bike and push/carry your bike through a 1.6km section that has a 200m vert. It is a narrow clay track which could get slippery.

We expect it to take you 25 - 45mins to push your bike through this section, so expect it to be tough.. You'll be rewarded with an awesome aid station once through!

Lets talk about COMPULSORY GEAR! 😄

You will be required to show us the following gear in order to claim your race number:
Beanie - Polypropylene or Wool
Long Sleeve thermal top
Full-fingered gloves - Polypropylene or Wool
Jacket - waterproof and seam sealed.
Whistle
Safety Blanket

No gear no start! This gear must be carried with you the whole race.

We will have random checks at the start line. The course takes part in an alpine environment where conditions can change rapidly, so you need to be prepared.

No Excuses! 😆
