What a night! 🎉⛵

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Junior Fundraising Evening alongside our fantastic event partner Midlands Investment.

With 170+ people in attendance, 7 rounds of quiz action, raffles, games, auctions, and plenty of laughs, it was an outstanding evening and a true celebration of our club community.

Together we raised an incredible $20,900 to support our junior sailing programmes and help grow the next generation of sailors. 👏

A massive thank you to all the businesses and individuals who generously donated auction items and prizes, and to all the club members and volunteers who worked so hard behind the scenes to make the evening happen.

Special thanks to all the individuals and families who donated items, as well as:

🌧️ Heavy Rain & Strong Wind Watch in Place (Sunday) Forecast conditions indicate potential heavy rain and strong winds, with a risk of escalation. Now is the time to prepare.

With deteriorating conditions expected, all members are strongly encouraged to check vessels, trailers, and equipment at the club ahead of the weather event.

Key Actions:
• Double-check mooring lines and tie-downs
• Remove or secure loose gear (sails, covers, equipment)
• Ensure bailers are open and boats can drain
• Check trailer restraints and positioning

Taking a few minutes now helps protect not only your own equipment, but also neighboring boats and club infrastructure.

Please keep an eye on weather updates and follow any club communications if conditions escalate.
