🏆 We’re incredibly proud to share that EVES Surfbreaker Triathlon has been named a finalist for the 2025 Triathlon New Zealand Community Event of the Year Award!

What started as a fun day of swim, bike, run, sand, surf, and organised chaos has grown into one of the most loved community triathlon events in the country 🌊☀️

A massive thank you to everyone who has helped make Surfbreaker what it is today. We’re honoured to be recognised alongside some amazing events from around New Zealand.

We all know someone affected by cancer. Memory Meadows is a space to remember and reflect while giving back. Join us this Saturday, 18 April, at the reserve on Maunganui Road between Zespri and the Mount Library.

🌿 Community Update

This last week in our beautiful corner of Aotearoa has been simply heartbreaking and tragic. We are deeply saddened by the sheer impact of Thursday’s landslides across our community. With yesterday’s confirmed loss of life at Mauao, many of us will be feeling at a complete loss.

Our thoughts and aroha are with the whānau, families, and loved ones who are facing unimaginable grief. We also want to acknowledge the extraordinary efforts of emergency workers, first responders, surf lifesaving teams, iwi, council staff, and others who stepped forward in incredibly difficult circumstances.

For those feeling the significant weight of this week, please know you are not alone. Connecting with others and seeking support can make a real difference. Tauranga City Council will have He Maimai Aroha - a Community Care Centre, open from tomorrow in Mount Maunganui for those who wish to pay their respects. The EVES Surfbreaker Triathlon is all done and dusted, and we’re still buzzing from this incredible day🏊‍♂️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♂️ A huge congratulations to all athletes who took part from around Aotearoa, an outstanding effort all round.

We’re proud to have supported this iconic event for over 20 years and to continue backing the community events that make our region so special. We can't wait to do it again this year.
