What a day for the Mangawhai Santa Parade + Concert!
Stunning weather, a record turnout and great vibes! 🙌

Somebody I spoke to said it was the best local Xmas Parade they've ever been to (and she's been to a lot!), so well done everyone who took part, organised and performed. You're a credit to Mangawhai 🥰🙏

Today's the day!

Perfect conditions for the Mangawhai Santa Parade and concert 🌞

Parade starts at 1pm from Sellars Reserve.

Concert runs from 3-6pm.

We have lots in store for the family at the MAZ

As well as Santa the Waipu Highland Pipe band will be performing.

There's face painting and hair braiding, plus lots of food options including a sausage sizzle, the Gaya Tree, Pasta e basta and Mangawhai Gelato for dessert 🙌

***Please note that Molesworth Drive will be closed for all through traffic between Wood St and the MAZ Cafe carpark between 12.30pm and 2.00pm during the parade***

SAVE THE DATE!

The MAZ Santa Parade and Christmas concert will be held on Sunday 14th December.

The parade starts at Sellars Reserve (bottom of North Ave) at 1.00pm, making its way to the finish line at the MAZ lower field, where the announcement of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners for the best float takes place.

Of course, Santa will be there, giving out early Christmas gifts for kids under 12 years of age. There'll be food available to purchase and entertainment leading up to the free community Christmas Concert happening between 3:00pm and 6:00pm.

Come and join the Float parade! Float participation can be cars, trailers, small trucks or even walking, dancing or cheerleading teams. Entry is free and it's a great opportunity and a fun way to profile your business, club or sports team to the Mangawhai community. Message us if you'd like a registration form sent out to you.

The MAZ committee is looking forward to a fun-packed day and the opportunity to show our heartfelt thanks to all our park sponsors, donors and volunteers; a day to celebrate the summer holidays and share some Christmas cheer with our amazing Mangawhai community.
