U18 DIVISION ONE WOMEN’S NATIONALS 2026

Introducing our Barbarians U18 Women’s team heading to Wellington for the Division One National Championships!

Bringing together players from Hutt, Waikato, Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough, this talented group will take on the country’s best from 16–19 July at Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre.

A huge welcome to all our players and coach Megan Thomson. We can’t wait to see this team come together and represent the Barbarians!

Our first four games:

Spiderman – Brand New Day Movie Fundraiser

Hutt Water Polo Under 14’s are hosting a movie fundraiser to help our players get to tournaments this year. Come along and help support our players and enjoy the new Spiderman movie, as well as range of yummy treats from the theatre’s amazing range of movie treats and hot food. We will have raffle baskets there filled with quality donations from supportive local businesses.



The Movie is Spiderman – Brand New Day.

Tickets are $20 each and must be paid prior to the event. All funds raised will go towards supporting our Under 14 at away tournaments this year.

A huge congratulations to Maya McLay on her selection in the New Zealand U18 Women's Water Polo Team for the 2026 World Aquatics U18 Championships in Tenerife, Spain.
This is a fantastic achievement and a reward for Maya's hard work and dedication. We are incredibly proud to see a Hutt Water Polo player representing New Zealand on the world stage.
