Irishman Andrew Kerr (ex. Jacky Tar) and Alan Norman (The Warratahs, The Rag Poets) are now a trio after being joined by Paddy Burgin (The Wooden Box Band, The Zimmermans), and his magical guitars.

A swampy melting pot of country, folk, americana and blues, they combine a mutual love of story-telling and rhythmic grooves with narratives about the human experience. They perform predominantly original material, with contributions from each member, calling on a wide range of instrumentation including piano, acoustic and Weissenborn guitars, accordion, bodhran, and percussion.

A great night of post punk in The Shed on Saturday night with Condenser NZ. Standing room only for The Cure’s Boys Don’t Cry - followed by all 21 tracks off Pink Flag by Wire - along with a bonus I Am the Fly (and a bonus encore that included a ripping version of The Damned’s New Rose!).

The Cure: Boys Don't Cry, 10:15 Saturday Night, Jumping Someone Else's Train, Fire in Cairo, Three Imaginary Boys, and a half-dozen more early songs, from before they went all depressing-like and then poppy.
Wire: everything on 'Pink Flag', their seminal 1977 debut album - post punk before post-punk, and arguably the first hardcore punk song. All 21 songs + a bonus track. Ticket info on the event page.

❤️🎵🔥Always a pleasure to have the very talented Louis TM in our tiny space. He played one of our first gigs in 2024 where we first got a sneak leak of tracks off the then upcoming Shelter for a Broken Soul Album.
Last night we got plenty off that album including a couple of surprises not on the set list (it was great to hear Brother and Carry on in this stripped back format). And those Fly My Pretties tracks too!
Go and buy the album on vinyl if you can!
Another great talented local artist that we are truly blown away to be able to see so up close and personal. (He’s a thoroughly decent human too!).
Again a genuine show of appreciation to our audience too for coming out and supporting live local music. Thank you! It was great to see so many new faces - we hope to see you back.
