It’s always a pleasure to have the wonderful Paul Ubana Jones in The Shed. He was back for his 5th and 6th sell out nights this last weekend.
This time we were also treated to a couple of numbers with the very talented Ben Fulton including a great interpretation of Hendrix’s Angel and an impromptu House of the Rising Sun.
A highlight for me was the acapella Home is Where The Hatred Is. We also got plenty of deep cuts and the “hits” including Raga and Mountain Song showing he still has the chops on the guitar that blew our minds (ahem) 30 odd years ago (or more..!). And that vocal delivery still fills a room like no other.
The stories and impersonations (he can do a few accents from North London to Nigerian) kept audiences over the two nights enthralled.
Thanks to everyone who came out. (And thanks again to Mr Ben Fulton … IYKYK!)
