Philippine Festival - Wellington

Philippine Festival - Wellington The best of Philippine culture in the Windy Capital! The Philippine Festival in Wellington showcase

Philippines is known for its rich and widely-influenced history - resulting in a culture very diverse, yet so distinctive. Wellington, with it's multicultural, modern, yet laid back lifestyle, is a welcome relief for Filipinos who want to show the best of their home region and country. Bringing people together to show the best of the Philippines is at the centre of the Bulwagan Foundation Trust (BFT). Philippine Festival is the annual culmination of those efforts.

Pinoy Pride! JM Beltran & Alan Raga

A pleasure to welcome back accomplished photographers JM Beltran & Alan Raga on The Hutt Weekender to talk about the upcoming Philippine Festival - Wellington at Lower Hutt Events Centre on Saturday 13 June. A fantastic event that will showcase food, culture, exhibitions, activities, performances and more!
Leading up to the festival will be the inaugural art exhibition ‘SINAG’ - a group exhibition of Filipino artists at Hutt Art Centre from Wednesday 10 June. Opening night is Tuesday 9 June from 6 pm.
Make sure you check out both events in Lower Hutt!
