Kia ora everyone,
We want to let you know that from 1 April, the Youth Space page will be closing.
We know this page has been a place to share what’s happening for young people in our district, and we really value the community that’s grown here.
Over time, we’ve seen that most of our Youth Space audience is engaging with us on Instagram rather than Facebook. Each social media page we manage requires monitoring, reporting and archiving, which takes both staff time and budget. To make sure we’re using our resources wisely, and putting energy into the spaces young people are actually using, we’re consolidating our channels.
Youth Space isn’t going anywhere.
To stay up to date with Youth Space programmes, events and opportunities, please follow our Instagram page. That’s where youth-specific content will live moving forward.
