The programme features award-winning Māori shorts "Disconnected" and "Pititi", followed by a Q&A with director Tajim Mohammed-Kapa. After the interval, enjoy "Te Haa o te Ao", Simon Ogston's new documentary about Kerikeri sculptor Chris Booth and the creation of his monumental public artwork, followed by a Q&A with Chris Booth and Simon Ogston.

✨Hey yoga lovers! A friendly reminder that the next Community Yoga will happen on 8th August, the second Saturday rather than the first Saturday of the month.

Meg's yoga sessions have been going since 2023, and they're always a great way to center yourself, slow down, reset and get prepared for the weekend ahead. No previous experience necessary. BYO yoga mat and something to use as a strap (eg. a dressing gown cord). See you there!

E kara, e Robert, kua ngū nei tō reo.

New Zealand Opera and the Toi Waka Turner Centre join the arts community in mourning composer, musician and creative collaborator Robert Wiremu — a singular voice in Aotearoa’s musical landscape.

Robert’s work forms an important part of Toiere, presented at the Toi Waka Turner Centre on Saturday 29 August at 7.30pm. His composition “Te Iere Tōiri”, with lyrics by Pānia Papa, will be performed in tribute to his life and enduring legacy.

Our heartfelt condolences to Robert’s whānau, friends, students and artistic collaborators.

Are you wanting to traipse the boards this summer? Join the Kerikeri Theatre Company cast and crew for Shakespeare's most beloved show, Romeo and Juliet, set in the iconic Kainui Vineyard, with American director Ziggy Wagrowski. KTC is looking for cast and crew aged 16 and above, both on stage and behind the scenes.

Auditions are on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August 2026.
