Not drinking on the day? No problem!

Six Barrel Soda Co. and St Andrew Limes' mocktail list means your festival glass can still get a good work out : Lime & Cucumber Refresher, Peachy Passion Lemonade, a Summer Spritz iced tea, plus their no and low sugar canned range if you'd rather keep it simple. Just as much flavour, none of the next-day regret.

After a caffeine buzz instead? Hawthorne Coffee Roasters , Havelock North's own, will be slinging the long black (rocket fuel, basically), the flat white (the reliable one), the cappuccino (for the sweet tooths) and whatever else gets you through the afternoon.

And if all you're after is water, chilled waters covered too. Wild, we know.

Tips from our groundskeeper Winston: parking edition.

If you are wondering how to get to and from the festival this year....

πŸ›» There is free on-site parking, for sober drivers.
πŸ›» If said driver decides to have a w**e or two instead? Leave the car overnight, come back for it the next day.
πŸ›» But the easier option: let someone else drive. We're running shuttles, more on that soon.
πŸ›» AND DEFINITELY, don't drink and drive. Sort your ride before the day.

You heard the dog.

Final site, and it's a change of pace: b**r and Indian street food.

🍺 Brave Brewing Co. : Hastings' proof that b**r tastes better with good company. Bring your mates, or make new ones in the line, either works.

πŸ› RASOI Cuisines of INDIA : Napier's pan-Indian kitchen bringing proper street food to the party, think biryani arancini balls alongside the tandoor classics and hand-ground spices. Warning: Chef Kamalesh isn't here to be polite about heat levels.

🍺 Giant Brewing Co. : started in a barn under Te Mata Peak's sleeping giant, now serving what they call 'big flavours, normal sized other stuff.' Lucky, because the food next door isn't holding back either.

Cold b**r, bold street food, no notes.

If you're still deciding where to park your "rig" for Harvest Hawke's Bay, relax, we've already made the decision for you.

Our self-contained motorhome and caravan park sits right on the banks of the Tuki Tuki river, close enough to the festival that "getting home" basically means "walking to bed." $45 for two nights, self-contained vehicles only, shuttles sorted so the only thing you need to plan is what to wear. Easy as pie.

Spots are limited and filling up fast. Lock yours in before someone else claims your patch of river.

Site nine, and they are here for a good time.

Bold food, w**e that plays by its own rules, and a cellar door that's already survived a flood. This site's earned the right to not take itself too seriously.

🍷 Smith & Sheth : who knew that composting based on the rhythms of the sun and zodiac would make such delicious w**e!?

🍽️ 495w**es : Chef Carlita's festival famous oysters need no introduction. Moist, briny, and everything you hoped they would be.

🍷 Shed 530 Estate W**ery : after rebuilding following Cyclone Gabrielle, these guys know better than most that life is about great w**e, great food and great times.

So if you like your food and w**e with a side of personality plus - you know where to go.

Two months. That's it. That's all the time left before Harvest Hawke's Bay 2026.

Here's the bit we need to say plainly: last year sold out well before the day. Not on the day, well before it. If you're one of those "I'll sort it closer to November" people, time is not on your side.

18 w**eries, 2 craft breweries, 10 food exhibitors, live music, and a day in the Tuki Tuki Valley that that sets your summer up for nothing but success. But only if you've actually got a ticket.

Seize the day. Carpe that diem. Live your best life. Book now, thank yourself later.

You get the idea.

Site eight, and every single one of these got here by ignoring the easy path.

Barren gravel, a family who swapped orchards for w**e, and a flavour direction nobody knew they needed. Three exhibitors who did the unexpected, and did it very well.

🍷 Trinity Hill W**es : planted vines on a barren Gimblett Gravels plot in 1993, when nobody else was doing it. Over 30 years later, it's one of the region's most iconic w**eries, in the most iconic areas. Go figure.

🍽️ Restaurant Ari : looked at Hastings C*D and thought, this place needs bold, flavour-driven food from Southern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Thank goodness they did, because they picked up a Cuisine Hat in their very first year.

🍷 Village Vineyards : a family of orchardists, until son Rhys decided fruit was fine but w**e was better. The rest, as they say, is history.

These three didn't wait for permission. Good thing too.

Napier's closer than you think, and honestly, so is everywhere else.

Here's the thing about Hawke's Bay: everything is maximum 30 minutes away, that's kind of the charm of it. Our festival site is certainly no different. So stay in Napier and make the most of it. Scenic Hotel Te Pania, Napier has shuttles running from pretty much right outside, so getting to and from the festival is simply a hop, skip and jump from your front door.

And staying in Napier comes with its own perk: several of our Harvest exhibitors are right there too. Grab dinner at Casa Ahuriri or Rasoi once your festival food coma has worn off, lunch at Mister D Dining on the Sunday, and a delicious sweet treat from Roamhawkesbay for your trip home, all close to where you're staying.

There are two ways to do it: the full package (two nights, breakfast, transfers and festival tickets, from $659) or a simpler room-only stay if you're building your own weekend.

Site seven, and this one's got new blood written all over it.

Old land, an old building, and three people who've been busy making their own mark on Hawke's Bay's w**e and food scene.

🍷 Paritua W**es : chief w**emaker Jason Stent had one taste of a 1961 Chateau Haut-Brion and decided w**e was the rest of his life. It was an exceptionally good call. He is now making some of the best w**es from some of the oldest gravels in the region.

🍽 Roamhawkesbay : Brad's cooked for celebrities and royalty. Now he's cooking for you, and honestly, you're getting the better deal, because you know - less paparazzi.

🍷 Swift W**es : was started by Lauren Swift in 2016 with a favourite grape and zero interest in doing things by the book. It is now one of the boldest young labels in the region. She's single handedly bringing the regions pink back.

Old bones, new energy, and three people who backed themselves. Site seven's a good one.
