Haast Marathon Haast Marathon is here to promote Haast's first official Haast Half Marathon 2021, which will be an annual event going forward.

In 2022 we are adding a bigger event, the South Westland Ultra - a more offroad style challenge with multiple distances.

In case you havent seen the event page updates, the new date for the Haast Half Marathon is going to be Saturday 2nd April, 2022. All participants will be contacted after Christmass to confirm registration details and we will keep everyone updated with any changes to the course or plan for the day :)

MAJORLY sad news today… unfortunately to a couple of reasons (covid, issues with traffic management plans), we have made the decision to postpone the Haast Half until early 2022. It will likely be in March some time but exact date is yet to be confirmed. Everyone who registered should have received an email now with the details. Big apologies for any inconvenience and again to our sponsors who have been so supportive and helpful with this event so far.

And just like that we have filled our 150 entry limit! 🥳 HUGE thanks to everyone who signed up for the first ever Haast Half Marathon!

We are going to do the best we can to make the day run smoothly despite covid restrictions and really appreciate your cooperation on the day.

An email will be sent out to participants in due course detailing the plan for the day so please keep an eye out for that as well.
