RÁEVN
RÁEVN flies through the skies on Odin’s breath, scanning the nine dimensions for the tastiest tunes to lay down for your aural pleasure. RÁEVN has cast their sonic sorcery at DWS once before, and has also graced the stages at Ancient Future Festival, Omnishakti, Twisted Frequency and Circulation.
Strap in for a journey through the ether-verse and prepare for a non-Euclidean rearrangement of your spleen.
TEXTURE TIME
Texture Time is a musical melting pot where friends and guest artists come together to make the music that inspires them in the moment. Live, improvising musicians are sampled into a mix produced on the fly to create unique electronic pieces.
The music we make bends across genres and styles, depending on the flavors dished up by our guest artists and the vibe on the night. It could be funky, it could be ambient - we’ll find out!
FROST
Frost is an Ōtepoti based DJ and producer whose original works and DJ sets have
a main focus on the raw hardware driven sound of acid techno. When it comes to performing, Frost is a true purist, preferring to mix with vinyl and jam on a dawless setup. Playing sets using only drum machines and analogue synthesisers is a true passion for Frost. He creates unique atmospheres and tilted jams, with wonky and experimental sounds.
Frost will be performing more of a stripped back ambient set for this DWS and will
include collaborating with some very special guests.
