Another successful Wajax competition. Huge effort by our team of fire-fighters hosting and competing - you guys worked hard and made the event loads of fun. Special thanks to those outside the brigade that helped us out - Gillian Terry and Lisa Reid for running the bar at the function, Anne Percy and Michelle Green for clearing plates etc that made our clean up job so much easier on Sunday, Clive Smith and Jan Hendren for help throughout the weekend, GY Kitchen (Monica, Toby & Les) for wonderful food Friday night and Saturday lunch, Bold Peak Lodge - Karl Green for dinner on Saturday night (and anything else we were short of!), GY Motors - Smithy for use of the curtain sider for judges, Donerite Contracting for use of the flat-bed, Meryn and Bruce Douglas for their help, and the Cruisckshanks for the great music.
Of course a huge thank you to our sponsors for their generosity!!

During lunch on Saturday we'll be opening up for those who are keen to have a go. Kids, partners, you'll all be able to sign up for a go at a hose run with a buddy to help guide you along the way!
