✨ As we head into full set-up mode we thought we’d do a whole lot more shout outs to our amazing sponsors!

⛪️ We love working with Ed and the team at First Church it’s always a joy. Every year, we pinch ourselves that we get to bring our festival to such a historical site.

✨ We use the WHOLE space, indoors and out! We have installations and performances all over including Brophy Aerial Studios high up in the trees! We fill the car park with our bustling night market. We’ve even lit up the Church and Burns Hall with local artists work!

✨ We love lighting up this beautiful historic space and inviting people to get up close to the lanterns and experience the magic in a truly special setting.

We’re in our final weekend of our Meridian Mall Dunedin workshops before our event NEXT WEEKEND!

A huge thank you to our incredible Trustees.

There is an enormous amount of mahi that happens behind the scenes to bring the Dunedin Midwinter Carnival to life each year.

From securing funding and maintaining sponsor relationships to supporting our staff team and championing the vision of the Carnival, our Trustees play a vital role in making it all happen.

And it doesn’t stop there. During Carnival you’ll often spot them out in the thick of it – checking tickets, serving mulled wine, supporting audiences, being waste warriors, donning costumes, and helping wherever an extra pair of hands is needed.

Thank you for your generosity, commitment and hands-on support of both our team and our community. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

🌟 We’re also currently looking for a new Trustee to join our passionate team. If you’re interested in helping shape the future of the Dunedin Midwinter Carnival and supporting this much-loved community event, we’d love to hear from you.
