The entry portal for the UPVC Windows & Doors Otago Children's Championships, 21-22 March 2026 is now open. This is an entry only event and there are no late entries. The event is free to enter. Entries close 9:00am Monday 16 March.
You can access the portal here https://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/meet/635380/info which provides all the meet information and then click "Register" to register for events.
To enter the Champs, all athletes will need to be attached to their Club (Team) - Team codes available at the bottom of the info page.
Please make sure you have consulted the 2026 DRAFT Programme (link at the bottom of the info page and attached) as the event runs over two days (Saturday 21st March & Sunday 22nd March). Children may enter a maximum of 4 events per day + a relay. In the portal if you inadvertently select 5 events for the one day it will lock all the other events for entry. To keep going please only select 4 events per day (regardless of how many days you are entering for).
Grade 10-14 Para Athletes: Please select your events and enter your Para Classification when requested along with the contact details.
Sprints up to 400m may require a heat and a final on the same day.
Please do not enter an event if your child is unavailable at the time of the final. If a child qualifies from their Heat to a Final and does not turn up for a final, they may be excluded from competing again that day. If this happens on Saturday, they are still able to compete on Sunday.
Any athlete having qualified for a final who fails to compete in that final becomes ineligible for further competition on that day. Likewise, any competitor starting in a final and making no significant effort, could also face disqualification. These decisions will be the sole responsibility of the Track Referee.
Age Grades: All child athletes competing in Children's athletics meetings will have their age calculated as of 31st December 2025. Therefore, your child will be in the same Grade as Term 4 last year.
