Resonate R&R - A Garden Party 🌿 Sat 21st March.
At 5pm we welcome you to get cosy on the lawn. Sit back and enjoy live music from Hanafi Machirus 🎶

🌿 Hanafi (Ngāti Awa, Waikato-Tainui, England, Scotland) completed his Bachelor in Jazz Performance Guitar at ARA Jazz school in Ōtautahi.
He has performed alongside many well known local musicians as well as bands ‘Frictionless’, ‘Wranglin’ and ‘Eat My Shorts’.
Over the last 2 years he has begun a journey into Taonga Pūoro, the first instruments of Aotearoa.
Hanafi plays guitar and taonga pūoro, and will be performing live loops combining these.

Resonate R&R - A Garden Party 🌿 Sat 21st March.
At 3pm, we’ll be supported & guided into a nourishing breathwork and gentle yoga session designed to support deep rest and nervous system regulation with Lucas ✨

Having recently completed ✔️ his National Diploma in yoga teaching to back up his breathwork certifications, Lucas is now even more keen to share the power of the breath with the world. 🌍

This session will involve gentle Hatha yoga for 15-20mins to open up the energetic channels (Nadis) within the body to start - then we go into “nervous system training” where we charge up the nervous system with over breathing techniques (ancient and modern) before holding our breath on the exhale for 30,60, 90 or 120 seconds to down regulate and produce amazing feel good hormones to be released, and for our nervous system to move into “rest and digest”. Bliss is the result ☀️

At 1pm, we’ll be guided into a beautiful Sound Journey with the multi-talented and multi-passionate Jenine & Sama 🎶
This offering is an invitation to gently drop in, slow down, and allow the body and mind to soften into the essence of Rest & Recovery ✨

Jenine Kerr & Sama Mounib are devoted to creating immersive, heart-centred sound experiences.

Together, they co-weave their gifts through their signature Floating Sound Journeys and Sound Cocoon events — spaces where the body is gently held and sound becomes a gateway to deep rest, release, and inner renewal.

Blending their shared passions for yoga, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, and nervous-system restoration, their sessions are crafted with intention and care. They combine grounded, embodied presence with the expansive frequencies of gongs, bowls, and subtle harmonic textures.

United by a love of creating sanctuary, Sama and Jenine guide participants into states of softness and surrender, helping them return to balance through vibration, breath, and spaciousness. Their offerings invite people to pause, reconnect with themselves, and experience the profound effects of sound within a nurturing, ceremonial environment.

Whether gently floating on warm water, held in silk hammocks, or resting upon the earth, their journeys invite you to be held deeply — by sound, by stillness, and by a sense of belonging within your own body.

Is Resonate R&R for kids?

Yes! This is our village, and our children are an integral part of it.

Resonate R&R is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event, where all ages are welcome to share in the space.
🎟️ However, we do have limited tickets available (link in comments).

We will have 2 dedicated volunteers offering children’s activities, allowing parents the opportunity to relax and enjoy the nourishing workshops and offerings.

Kids activities may include:
✨ Cosmic Kids Yoga
🎨 Arts & crafts
🌿 Garden games
💧 A gentle river walk (with parental permission)

We love creating spaces where families can gather, connect, rest and play together.
