💫 What a way to wrap up NZ Music Month!

A huge thank you to all the incredible artists and audiences who helped make this year's celebration one to remember. Throughout May, we were fortunate to welcome an outstanding lineup of Aotearoa talent to our stage, while also revisiting and sharing some of the wonderful performances we've hosted over the years.

Featured in this video are Ali Harper , Michael Houstoun, Addington Brass Band, Josef Špaček & Friends. Throughout the month we also welcomed Mark Walton and Canterbury Philharmonia while celebrating many past performances that continue to showcase the depth and diversity of New Zealand music.

🎹 It's been six years since Modi Deng last performed in Aotearoa, and we're delighted to welcome her back to The Piano.

Praised by the New Zealand Herald as a “sensitive guide, travelling effortlessly from chiming virtuosity to chiselled hush,” Modi has built an impressive international career, captivating audiences with her expressive artistry and remarkable technique.

For her return, she'll present a beautifully curated programme featuring works by Ravel, Rameau, Cowan, Harris, and Scriabin.
