We’re excited to share that Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre has been named a finalist for Venue of the Year at the NZ Events Association Awards 2026 🎉

The submission was based on the delivery of Adaptation Futures 2025, a major international conference hosted here in Ōtautahi Christchurch. It’s a great reflection of the incredible work across the team, clients and partners who help bring events of this scale to life.

We are proud to share that Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre has once again been awarded Gold Qualmark status under the Sustainable Tourism Business Standards.

This marks the fourth time achieving Gold and reflects the ongoing work happening across the venue to reduce environmental impact, support local communities, and deliver a high-quality experience for every event.

Ōtautahi Made is taking over Te Pae Christchurch on Sunday 21 June, bringing together over 160 makers for a curated winter market.

Discover local artists, designers and producers from across Ōtautahi and Aotearoa, with everything from ceramics and jewellery to fashion, homewares, food, wine and coffee.

The day includes early-access VIP shopping and a low-sensory hour, creating a space that’s easy to explore at your own pace.

It was a pleasure to host and be involved in Info Chef 2026, Aotearoa NZ’s premier culinary conference.🧑‍🍳

Des played a big part behind the scenes with NZ Chefs, helping bring the event together. Courtney was involved on the Women in the Industry panel, sharing her experience and perspective with emerging chefs, and Nick worked his magic on the Sausage Station during lunch.

Presented by NZ Chefs and UCAP (United Chefs and Partners) in partnership with Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre, Info Chef brings together hospitality professionals, chefs, students, suppliers and industry leaders across New Zealand for a day of ideas, learning and good conversations, centred around Think Global, Cook Local.

This event also marked the largest gathering of chefs in Ōtautahi Christchurch since the earthquakes, which made it feel extra special to be part of.

We were honoured to host Sparkle for Hope’s 20th Anniversary for the Child Cancer Foundation at Te Pae Christchurch last weekend - a night full of generosity, connection and heartfelt moments.

It was great to have Becca Hayden and Angela Santoro from our Business Development team there on the night, hosting a table and being part of such a special event.
