The date is set for this years big parade and the new billboard is up at Canterbury Agricultural Park gate. Market and food vendor site booking announcement coming soon.

📣That’s all from us for now. We are unpacking the containers, doing all the washing and putting everything away for another year.

Before we go…..

Everyone is saying the floats are looking so smart, colourful, clean and fresh. It’s because of our friends at Resene.

Resene has been giving us free paint each year to keep the floats looking great. It’s the best paint for the job and they always have the colours we need.

WOW!! WHAT A DAY!!
45,000 came to see the parade!
Much more than we were expecting. Last year was 30,000.
We hope you had a great time, the weather was wonderful and everyone had a smile on their face.
We do apologise for the delay for some of you getting out of the park. We got a lot of complaints and have already begun discussions to improve the process next year.
We just weren’t expecting 45,000 people and so many to leave at once. We keep the event going until 4.30pm for a reason. To try and stagger the crowd leaving, but when so many people leave at once there is not much can be done about getting all those cars through one gate. Those that stayed on for a bit had a great time and left the park with ease.
We hope to see you all next year, with improved parking and more exciting floats and things to see.

📢 VIP Frames and Trusses Christmas Show Parade Has Officially Begun!

Our doors opened at 11 AM, and we’re just a couple of hours away from kicking off the parade.
Join us today at 2 PM to witness vibrant floats, lively dances, and so much more! 🎄

To everyone coming to our parade today..

Christchurch is a very lucky city to have been gifted these beautiful floats back in 1991 by Farmers. They were donated to the children of Christchurch and a Trust was set up to look after them and stage the annual parade.
Some of our floats are over 70 years old!
We have taken great care of these floats and have been on a mission to repair and restore them to their former glory.
The parade today is a culmination of 4 years of hard work. Several new floats and characters have joined the parade this year.
You will see SpongeBob and Gary, Stitch!, Scooby Doo, Bluey, Mickey, Minnie & Pluto, The Grinch, Pooh Bear, Olaf, Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer and many more.
And all your old favourites looking beautiful too!
We hope you enjoy our parade, we think this might be our best one yet (possibly the best in New Zealand) and we can’t wait for you to see it.

I’m joining LOOPY TUNES Preschool Music and friends at the V.I.P Christmas Show Parade tomorrow (Sunday the 23rd Nov).

Come and check out all the stalls, amusement park rides fabulous market and food options and we’ll meet you at the Loopy Tunes stage!

Entry is FREE. The gates open at 11 and the stage starts jumping at 11:20, with the Parade at 2pm! See you there xox
