Check it out! Incredible talent has graced the halls and fields of Seddon High, Western Springs College, and Ngā Puna o Waiōrea through the years. Celebrating such illustrious whakapapa is one of our aims of PunaFest 2025.

You may not know but Supergroove, Che Fu, Nesian Mystik and producer Joel Little (produced Lorde & Taylor Swift) are some of the most recognised artists on the NZ music scene...and... they all kicked off in the Seddon/WSC Music Department at 100 Motions Road, Western Springs.

Must be something in the water eh?

If you're wondering if your eyes deceive you, homelessness in Central Auckland is growing. Auckland Council staff report it shot up 53% in the three months from Sept 2024. Those championing on the frontline of these issues are our unsung heroes We're humbled that Mahera Maihi, founder of the incredible initiative Mā Te Huruhuru will take to the PunaFest 2025 stage as part of our Rangatahi panel.

They are renowned for their work enabling rangatahi Māori to navigate the challenges of homelessness, employment, and su***de prevention.
