Sofar Sounds started in 2009, in a tiny North London flat. Frustrated by of the traditional live music experience, we hosted three young artists who played to a carefully selected audience of true music lovers. And after that show, those music lovers went and told their friends...

All the aroha in this Kingsland living room for our Sunday session where a few surprises were part of the magic.

Thank you to Fourth Ave, Evie Bamford (Evie Bamford) and Ben Chavasse (Ben Chavasse) for three unforgettable sets in our Sofar living room. And to our incredible hosts, the English family, who treated us to a surprise performance of their own ~ it was the perfect reminder that music has a way of bringing everyone into the story.
