Thanks to everyone that has responded, it looks like we are set for aid station volunteers - just still looking for someone who's keen for a cruise around the 34km MTB course as our Tail End Charlie!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!! 🙋‍♀️
We've unfortunately had a volunteer group pull out that were due to manage 2 x aid stations on event day, so we're looking for your help!
All volunteers will arrive on the 7am ferry to be briefed and transported to your spots for the day.
Ferry transport is included, and lunch pack and volunteer tees will be provided. In return for you giving up your day to help other trail lovers you'll earn a free entry to a future Total Sport event!

We are looking for:

AD #1 3 people 8:30am - 1:00pm
AD #2 3 people 8:30am - 4:30pm
Mountain Bike 34km TEC x 1 person

Did you know both Motutapu and Rangitoto islands are completely pest-free? This means there are no non-native pest animals such as rats, mice, stoats, possums, feral cats etc, which allows other endangered species to thrive in a safe environment. Endangered takahe, whitehead, tieke/saddleback, pateke and shore plovers have been released onto the islands since the celebration of their pest-free status in August 2010. Thanks to past participants of the John West DUAL who’s involvement in the event has directly contributed to the islands conservation efforts.
