Brazilian Day Festival New Zealand

Our Festival aims to promote Brazil and today we are the largest Brazilian Festival of New Zealand! We are a Charitable Trust and received the support of Mt Eden-Albert Board /Auckland Council and the Brazilian Embassy. Brazilian Day Festival is proud to build bridges between our cultures and countries, opening doors for companies, organizations and individuals to showcase their products, services and aspects of our culture, to directly and indirectly generate more than 100 jobs. The mission of our Festival is to gather our communities and share with New Zealand our passion, joy and warmth that reflects on our dance, music, food and folklore.

The Festival has always been held at Rocket Park, Auckland, this year was our 5th edition with the presence of more than 12000 visitors during the day. The Festival presents the best of Brazilian entertainment in New Zealand, we have international attractions, dance workshops, Zumba, samba, capoeira and forró and different styles of Brazilian music. A huge area with more than 20 tents, selling food and delicious products, a market stall, kidzone with an amusement park and other free activities for children. Our last attraction is a Carnival Parade with the first samba school in New Zealand. Our organisers and team put the best effort to create an amazing atmosphere, unique, exotic and fun for everyone!
