Creativity took centre stage at the NZ Taiwan Day 2026 Glove Puppet Competition 🎭✨

Teams showcased their talent by designing and crafting their own glove puppets, then bringing them to life through original storylines in a lively and imaginative competition.

Judged by renowned puppeteers from the Taichung Sheng Wu Zhou Glove Puppet Troupe, each performance was a wonderful display of creativity, storytelling, and skill.

A fun and inspiring highlight that delighted both participants and audiences alike!

創意在2026紐西蘭臺灣日「布袋戲比賽」中成為全場焦點 🎭✨

特別喜歡現場搭建新的布袋戲戲台，每個隊伍都親手設計與製作自己的布袋戲偶，並透過原創故事，在充滿生動與想像力的比賽中讓角色栩栩如生。

由台中聲五洲掌中劇團的知名操偶大師擔任評審，每一場演出主題是「遊台灣 Explore Taiwan」，說故事語言能力與操偶技巧讓現場充滿歡笑。

一個既有趣又充滿啟發性的亮點活動，讓參賽者與觀眾都留下深刻又愉快的回憶！

Hands-on safety and community fun at NZ Taiwan Day 2026 🚑🚓

A big thank you to St John Ambulance and NZ Police for bringing along their vehicles, giving guests a chance to explore, learn, and get up close with essential community services. Kids and adults alike enjoyed seeing the vehicles and discovering more about the important work these teams do every day.

由交通部觀光署、華航及駐奧克蘭臺北經濟文化辦事處共同推廣臺灣觀光資源，介紹臺灣多元的自然景觀、原住民文化體驗、美食文化及便利交通。今年在紐西蘭成立的首家「臺灣華語文學習中心（TCML）」亦設置展位，推廣臺灣優質華語文教育體系，吸引不少民眾詢問華語學習與赴臺交流機會。
