Celebrate Coeliac Awareness Week 2026 at the Gluten Free Food Market — a vibrant day of delicious eats, good vibes, and gluten-free discoveries in the heart of Christchurch!

Join us on Sunday 21 June from 12pm–7pm at Te Matatiki Toi Ora Arts Centre, (Engineering Lane and Altiora) for a free-entry market packed with incredible 100% gluten-free food trucks and stalls. Whether you’re living with coeliac disease, gluten free by choice, or simply love great food, everyone is welcome.
Enjoy mouthwatering eats from some of Canterbury’s favourite vendors including Bangkok Wok, Koe Cheesebread, Badass Brownies, FOG Food, Spuddy, The Chippy, Yellow Not Pink Tortillas, OMG Donuts, Gone Bananas, and Cafe Tango. From sweet treats to street food favourites, there’s something for every craving.
Relax indoors at Altiora with drinks from the bar, soak up the atmosphere, and celebrate a week dedicated to raising awareness and creating safe, inclusive food experiences for the gluten-free community.

“Three years ago, we started Koé with a simple love for Brazilian cheese bread - "pão de queijo". But what started in a small apartment and grew into a double garage has officially hit production capacity (again!). To keep going safely and responsibly, we need to move to a bigger place. But to do that, we need an extra push to help us bring our cheese bread to every corner of New Zealand.

So, we launched a Pledge Me Campaign to raise $20,000 NZD, the first critical step toward our dream factory!

We’re outgrowing our garage and need to scale up to keep up with your cravings! By pledging, you’re helping us move into a proper commercial production space and upgrade our equipment.
