Auckland Council recently partnered with Dovetail Consulting to explore the real impact of arts and culture investment across Tāmaki Makaurau – from support for expression of the stories that connect us to stronger community connection and cohesion.

The findings? Investing in arts matters - for our communities, our people, and our future. 🌿

What makes a rainbow? Join drag superstar Hugo Grrrl for a musical, magical adventure exploring the science of the skies above.
Can you help find Ray The Sun, Misty The Cloud and Wayne the Rain? Maybe even the fabulous Archie The Rainbow?! Together our wonderful weathery friends will make the mysteries of meteorology fun, all the while proving the power of glitter, dress-ups and friendship.
Hugo’s Rainbow Show is for everyone! Best for two to ten year olds and our neurodivergent whānau, but even big kids will love this wholesome, goofy and glamorous experience.

We’ve reached the last day of PrideFest Out West 2026, and we’re going out with colour, movement, creativity, and a whole lot of joy ✨

🧘 Flow With Pride - Vinyasa
Start the day grounded and energised with a Pride-powered yoga flow.

🎨 Rainbow MessFest! with Messy Rainbows
Get gloriously messy with rainbow sensory and creative play for all ages.

💎 Something Colourful! Rangatahi Beading
A relaxed, creative space for rangatahi to make bright, expressive jewellery and hang out together.

✍️ Q***r Romance Writing Workshop
Dream up love stories, explore q***r joy, and get creative with words in a supportive space.

🎤🎱 Drag Bingo with Trinity Ice
End PrideFest with three rounds of chaotic, competitive bingo, cheeky banter, and fabulous prizes 💅

From mindful movement and messy play to creative writing and drag-tastic chaos, this is the perfect PrideFest finale 🌈✨

From sunrise dancing to drag bingo after dark… Friday is serving Pride from start to finish 💖

Here’s what’s coming up:

☀️💃 Morning People: Pride Dance Party
Start your day with a FREE, alcohol-free rave at the Barrel Store at Corban Estate Arts Centre.
With Pride flags lining Henderson, we’ll be getting loud, sweaty and dancey before breakfast 🏳️‍🌈
On the decks: Leetifah - bringing big q***r energy, global beats and serious dancefloor joy.

👶 Proud Parents Kangatraining
A pelvic floor–safe postnatal workout where you can move, stretch, and build strength with pēpi close in their carrier. A lovely way to connect with other parents and whānau 💪🍼

🎤🎱 Drag Bingo with Trinity Ice
Three rounds of chaotic, competitive bingo with cheeky banter, big laughs, and fabulous prizes 💅

From morning rave to evening drag chaos, Friday is absolutely stacked 🌈✨
