✨IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT✨

Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we are not able to proceed with the Beachlands "Thunder on the Coast" event on 19 November. We are currently working closely with the Harbour Master for a new date in 2023 - we will keep everyone informed of any progress that is made.

NZ Offshore Powerboat Racing is a well-known New Zealand wide sport. It attracts boating enthusiasts to spectate from near and far as well as competitors from the North & South Island and abroad. In addition, it captures an even wider viewing audience online through its following on social media as well as its presence in local communities.

There are 20+ competition teams as well as their support crews expected at the Beachlands event which is a superb seaside venue offering great viewing and perfect race conditions.
The Beachlands Boat Club also has a great host deck for race day viewing.

The event will consist of 2 main races, jet ski mini races, product demos, give-it-a-go events for boats and jet skis and have various food vendors present.

The event will then close with an official prize giving held at Sunkist Bar on Saturday night.
