On Friday evening, the Shear for Life Committee had the privilege of presenting two $75,000 cheques to the Cancer Society Mid Canterbury and Hospice Mid Canterbury, a resounding tribute to the incredible impact of collective generosity and community spirit in achieving a truly remarkable result.

On behalf of the Shear for Life “in remembrance of absent friends” Committee, a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our Sponsors, Supporters, Volunteers, Special Guests and all of you that attended our event at Hindsridge Farm on Saturday 1st February, you all played a part in making the day the success it was! The sun was out and it was really special to see so many families enjoying the day's activities.

The day concluded with a Monster Auction and combined with the activities of shearing, raffles and socialising, it was announced that around $150,000 was raised to be accorded between the Cancer Society Mid Canterbury and Hospice Mid Canterbury
