Traditional folk, Youth and children’s programme, Ukulele choir, Acoustic guitars, Harmonic voices and Poetry tales will be on the menu as the Canterbury Folk Festival resonates over the Easter Weekend. Those looking to participate can join the Ceilidh or take part in workshops, listen to concerts, participate in the jam sessions, perform in the blackboard concerts and the extraordinary "Blind Date" concert on Sunday afternoon all in an idyllic setting. Previous Canterbury Folk Festivals have been an awesome success, there was a buzz of happiness, the sounds of harmony of instruments and voice around the Waipara Adventure Centre, inspiring workshops, awesome concerts, and the youth band project offered a sense of longevity that the music will carry on, bringing the joy that we have experienced sharing live acoustic music flowing into the musicians of the future.
