Kathmandu Blues Festival was first organized in 2006 by Ashesh Dangol with the support from his students, Nekhvam Rendezvous, Helping Together. This very first blues festival in Nepal show cased Ashesh and Nekhvam, Looza, Jocose, The Resonance and The Spirit. Kathmandu Blues 2006 was also a charity event for "Helping Together" to support under privileged children of Nepal. Which was a grand succes
