Today, 15th April 2024 (3rd Baisakh 2081), on the occasion of the World Art Day, Alliance For Children Film Nepal (ACF Nepal), established on 2013 with the aim to promote ‘Films for Children’, announces the 1st Nepal International Children Film Festival.

‘TOGETHER WITH PARENTS’/ FESTIVAL LOGO RELEASE
With the motto, TOGETHER WITH PARENTS, Nepal International Children Film Festival has been announced after releasing the Festival Logo by the Actor Dayahang Rai, Pashupati Rai and Child Actor Prasan Rai. Child Actor Prasan Rai is one of the main actor of the upcoming movie ‘Gau Aaeko Baato (Road To A Village), by Nabin S***a.

I𝐍T𝐑O𝐃U𝐂T𝐈O𝐍
Established in 2069 BS (2013 AD), Alliance for Children’s Film Nepal (ACF Nepal) aims to develop an environment of film for children by involving them in the films OF THE CHILDREN, made FOR THE CHILDREN, and also engage them in the films BY THE CHILDREN, where they can be the future of Nepali Cinema. Also, they are also the future audience, therefore, it is very necessary to develop film literacy, especially for the Nepali audience. Therefore, the main goal of ACF Nepal is to develop the Film Literacy from the childhood level.
𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙢 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣?
Film is the medium, the combination of different arts that will engage the children with the culture, society and education. It can help Children in the following ways:
- Visualisation builds their perspective
- Boosts Comparision and Analytical Skills
- Develops Creative Thinking
- Helps them to learn values.
- Strengthens relationship
- Film can help develop Children’s Cognitive skills, such as forming long-term memory, maintaining focus, developing logic, reasoning, visual and auditory processes.

- Film will help on the Children’s development as well as their personality development.
- Children will also be introduced to the Global Society and Culture through the medium of the films.
- Film could also be a strong medium to decrease the distance between the relation of the children and their parents.
