For those wishing to donate at this early stage following the tragic circumstances in Nepal, and considering what link to use, please look at this one.

Many thousands of people are now homeless. Teams are a working 24/7 to bring aid to those in need. Every effort is a help at this stage. Thank you.

While the enormity of the scale of destruction and loss is still being processed, it is still important for us as an athletic event to reassure athletes looking to plan for 2027.
HimalayanXtri and Himalayan SP5 are based in Pokhara, which is geographically 200km from the affected areas.
Though distant by location, we are all affected by what has happened, and it is vital we join together to help those in need and to help to rebuild.
We understand whatever we do at HimalayanXtri is a tiny drop, but we will be adjusting this year's Everest / Forbidden Kingdom Virtual Challenge that was due to launch on September 1st, accordingly, and will update how this will proceed in the coming days.
-
Thank you to all, athletes, the XTRI community and friends of Nepal, for your support.

That X-Factor
What does it feel like to make it to the highest point in world triathlon after battling a 3.8km swim, 165km road bike ride with more than 3,600metres of elevation gain, and then a trail run to 4,000metres above sea level?
-
Add in some spice and ask Heiko Sepp of Estonia, as he made it past the 3,500metre High Camp cut-off to become one of the first 12 to hit that high point ever in 2022.... and that was after losing nearly 2 hours to bike mechanicals on the road!
-
A truly outstanding achievement still talked about in Nepal...!
