Dhorpatan is a beautiful village located in the Baglung District of Nepal. It is known for its natural landscapes, rich biodiversity, and cultural heritage. Dhorpatan is situated at an altitude of around 2,900 meters (9,500 feet) above sea level in the western part of Nepal.

One of the main attractions of Dhorpatan is the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve, which is adjacent to the village. The hunting reserve, as mentioned earlier, is a protected area renowned for its wildlife and allows controlled hunting activities. It offers opportunities for adventure enthusiasts and wildlife lovers to explore the diverse flora and fauna of the region.

Apart from its wildlife reserve, Dhorpatan offers stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan mountain ranges, including Dhaulagiri, Gurja Himal, and Churen Himal.
