EID, JOY, AND MORE FESTIVAL er et arrangement som inviterer hele Trondheims befolkning til å delta i den tradisjonelle muslimske EID-feiringen og lære mer om den muslimske kulturen. Her vil det foregå ulike konserter og andre kulturelle innslag i løpet av dagen. Gjennom å samle mennesker med ulik kulturell bakgrunn ligger det til rette for å øke forståelsen av hverandres kultur og levesett, og åpe
nhet rundt dette vil være sentralt på denne festivalen. Målet er kunnskapsdeling slik at det skal være lettere å forstå hverandre og forenes som innbyggere i Trondheim på tross av ulike kulturelle bakgrunner. Lager11 sin internasjonale mathall er et fantastisk sted der ulike kulturer til daglig jobber sammen. Arrangementet gir en fantastisk mulighet mulighet for ulike grupper i samfunnet til å møtes for å feire sommeren på en dag som er av stor betydning i den Islamske kalenderen. EID, JOY, AND MORE FESTIVAL er et flerkulturelt arrangement som ønsker å fremme sosial samhørighet gjennom interaksjon, kultur, sosiale aktiviteter og vennskap på tross av ulike kulturer. Deltakerne er forventet å være nordmenn, engelske, arabiske, urdu, bosniske, tyrkiske og mange andre nasjonaliteter. EID, JOY, AND MORE FESTIVAL er basert på frivillig arbeid og samarbeid mellom mange frivillige organisasjoner, miljøer i Trondheim, Lager11, Trondheim Kommune, Trøndelag fylkeskommune og IMDI. Festivalen er gratis og åpen for alle

EID, JOY, AND MORE FESTIVAL is an event that all the Trondheim community is waiting for, it allows for other communities to test and understand the different cultures of the Muslim community and their lifestyles. The festival performances and concerts will share different cultural experiences. The different groups present on the day can gain an understanding of each other’s cultures and heritage, displayed for all to see and enjoy, it is only through this type of knowledge sharing that can communities begin to understand each other and unite. These types of events promote an amazing chance for community groups as they come together on summer vacation to celebrate a day on the Islamic calendar that is of great significance. EID, JOY, AND MORE FESTIVAL is a Multicultural event by the Trondheim community, promoting social cohesion and harmony, and by seeking to educate other communities about different cultures by way of direct interaction, culture, social activities, and friendship. The proposed participants are Norwegians, English, Arabs, Urdu, Bosnian, Turkish and much more, coming together to deliver a day of unity and joy between communities. This type of project makes a big difference to the community, it is an event that all the Muslim community are waiting for, it allows for other communities to understand the different cultures of the Muslim community and the different style of stage performances, concerts groups and culture and social activities, by sharing different cultural experiences. All groups present on that day can gain an understanding of each other’s cultures and heritage, displayed for all to see, and enjoy, it is only through this type of knowledge sharing can communities begin to understand each other and unite. EID, JOY, AND MORE FESTIVAL is based on volunteering work and collaboration between many voluntary organisations, communities in Trondheim,lager 11, Trondheim Kommune, Trøndelag fylkeskommune and IMDI.
