There are downhills... and then there is the descent from Heimste Blåhornet🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The descent drops only about 500m of vertical, from the peak and down to the feed station at Blåhornsvatnet. Altough short, it’s sweet and sooo much fun that you just wish it would continue for way longer when you hit the bottom✨ It’s one of those ridges where you find your flow, just trust your feet (make sure to bring shoes with a good grip!) and have a blast of a time 🌴🦩

Young gun, ageless master, trail newbie, or CCC champion... Our 7K race, Ljøbrekka Express, is an absolute blast for everyone!🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This 7K on the historical Trondhjemske Postvei gives you a world-famous fjord view and a fast gravel race. But the best part? The party doesn’t stop at the finish line. It just continues with an after-race BBQ hangout and live concert at Ljøen Fjellgard.
Good vibes, local food, old and new trail running friends. What more can you wish for✨

It’s been a few years since we heard someone say something like this at the 25K start line: «I’ve run many marathons, how hard can it be to run 25K?»

Whenever we heard someone say this, we just used to smile a little. Because we knew they where in for a memorable experience..

Maybe they should have read the Race Manual, maybe we should have warned them right there.
But hey, race directors deserve to have some fun too, right? 😉

Fun fact: Our 25K is actually a bit longer—more like 25,9km. You get those 900 bonus meters completely for free on the race registration. No need to thank us🦩🌴

Trail running is more than just ultras, and our Skurahornet Up ’n Down is a true trail party!

Don’t let the numbers fool you—although fairly short with «only» 12K, this race is packing 848 meters of vertical gain and loss. This loop has it all: climbs that really get your heart pumping, fast flowy descents, and a breathtaking panoramic fjord view that will make you forget how much your lungs are burning. And of course, a section with chances of a mud fest if the weather is right🌧️😇

Whether you are just getting into trail running, or you are an experienced trail runner looking for a course to go fast on... Skurahornet is waiting for you🌴🦩

If you ever have to run on asphalt, at least make sure that the view is amazing🤩
Like this stretch of asphalt along the fjord between Øye and Urke on our Sunnmøre 95K course.

This is where our 95K runners find their rhythm and shake out their mountain legs after a brutal downhill run that drops 1,000m in just about 2km down to Øye.
A great stretch to be enjoying the serene atmosphere along the fjord, while preparing for the «little» 900m climb up to Urkeegga from Urke⛰️

Our 55K is a wild loop packing 3,800 meters of climbing and 3,800 meters of descending through the spectacular area around Stranda.

One of our 2026 finishers stated it perfectly: «This is one of those races where you actually appreciate every single meter of gravel road that you get.» You wonder why someone would state something like this? Well, there’s only one way to find out😇

Where the fjord trail magic starts happening for real on our 25K, 55K, and 95K⛰️

Lievarden✨

We might be slightly biased😅 but swipe through to see why the trail on Lievarden is one of the most amazing ones around. And why it’s an absolute favorite for many of our participants🤩

We just call it the good times trail, and it comes with an amazing view of the fjord that makes lots of runners stop to take a photo or two every year. Unless the weather has gone south.. Which happens sometimes🤷‍♂️ after all we’re on the northwest of 🇳🇴

It might look like a catwalk, and in some ways it is... ✨⛰️

Even though the climb up Urkeegga is short, it´s not as easy as it looks after 49km of wild norwegian fjord trails. The reward? An absolutely amazing fjord view! 🤩

And the best part? After you are done with the ridge, there is a fairly technical section waiting for you towards Brunstad where you really will get to use your footing skills. It will probably rock you! 🪨🔥 If you know you know,
