Dear thorXtri Legends,

The race crew has decided to host one final race in 2026 to celebrate the 10th edition and anniversary—we’re going out with a BANG!

This will be a unique and special event, lasting approximately 24-30 hours. You will race in small teams of 3-4 members (including a support driver), with at maximum 3 athletes racing at any given time.
The 10x course will include:
-3800 meters of classic thorXtri open water swimming
-180 km of cycling with around 3000 meters of elevation gain
-A 15-minute ferry ride
-A 60 km trail run along the Lysefjord, finishing in Lysebotn, with 2600 meters of elevation gain

Each team will be assigned a room that accommodates upto 4 people for a 3-night stay. The course will follow the spirit of old-school triathlons—no signs or markings. Teams will be selected through an application process, and assignments will be made 12 months before race day.

We’re aiming for a race date in late June or early July 2026 to make the most of the daylight hours. What do you think—is this something you’d fancy doing?
