Sabbathians!

A little status on the ticketsales from us.
Only 31 festivalpasses left at this particular price-tier. After those tickets are sold the last 100 festivalpasses will be released, with a pricechange.

Daytickets are going steady, but keep in mind they're limited. The numbers on the photo is all we have left of daytickets!

Finally the daysplit is here, along with daytickets! 🔥

As always we only have 100 daytickets, so get at them while you can, they’re usually in high demand.
Festivaltickets are of course still available, the current tier have only 50 tickets left before the final tier is published with a slight price increase.

We're opening the gateways and portals to the autumn, as summer flies by.

The last 6 bands for this upcoming Høstsabbat are as follows:

The Vintage Caravan 🇮🇸
It's been six years since their last trip to Norway, and we're super stoked to have the Icelandic blues and psychrockers!
A year after their latest release, Portals, they are ready to make Høstsabbat groovy and fuzzy beyond comprehension.

Ruff Majik🇿🇦
After unfortunate circumstances kept them out of the 2023 edition of Høstsabbat the South African rock'n'roll razzmatazz
groovy gang finally make their way to the Church of Riffs!

Hippie Death Cult🇺🇸
The dynamic Portland trio of Hippie Death Cult brings an electric live-performance with massive riffs and howling vocals to the Sabbath!
Their Black Sabbath Fairies Wear Boots has been a constant play in our office, one of the best covers. And their last full-length Helichrysum has been played to death as well.

Feral Nature🇳🇴
Feral Nature is back for second servings at the feast for the dead! Going from extreme to extreme, Feral Nature had boots in the ceilings last time at Høstsabbat, and this time around they will blow the roof of with a special show just for Høstsabbat!

Reaping Flesh🇳🇴
Also back for more are the uncomprimising outfit of Reaping Flesh. Mixing crust-punk, death-metal and thrash they are back and hungry to show what they have in the bag this time around. Occult, dark, harsh and a goosebump guarentee!

Rosa Faenskap🇳🇴
Last out, but not least, are local favorites Rosa Faenskap. The absolute best homage and middle-finger to Black Metal instantly cemented this trio as the most exciting younger act to battle the genre for years. Their two albums, Jeg Blir Til Deg and Ingenting Forblir, in our minds Black Metal classics of the new generation. And their live-shows are packed to the brim with energy.

Sabbathians!

We have news from the crypt!
4 more artists are ready for Høstsabbat 2026. From jazz, to danish stonerrock, to 80’s space-themed heavy rock to epic black metal, this drop has it all!

This reaping includes:

S*x Magick Wizards (NO)
Psychedelic, experimental jazz from well renowned musicians, put together in a jazz ensemble. Frankensteined with parts of Django Reinhardt and Jimi Hendrix fused with Sámi culture and flare.
The freejazz quartet will play at our new venue, Kafé Hærverk, and will be the perfect palate cleanser for this year’s Høstsabbat!

B**g Voyage (NO)
All sideburns, no concern! The trailblazing hashtronauts in B**g Voyage returns, now with an 80s inspired full album out as well! Hedonistic Hard Rock dropped in May, and instantly made an impact so good we had to get them back. The wizards of Ozlo are on an eternal quest, not for powder, but to infect everyone with the hedonistic rock flu. Sideburns, leathervests and shoulder-length hair. Watch out!

Bogwife (DK)
In collaboration with Lasher Fest, we bring you Aalborg’s own stoner/doom outfit: Bogwife.
Haunting the swamps of the Danish lowland, these Danish riffmasters have more bluesy grooves than the Blues Brothers, and will bring their murky and gritty stoner-vibe to the Sabbath!
Worship the bog!

Cult of Fire (CZ)
Few bands inhibit the absolute epic atmospheric and ferocious presence that Cult of Fire does. A marriage of Hindu and Buddhist religious themes, Black Metal and musical prowess. This will play straight into the hands of our Church of Riffs, and will be one to remember!
From ta***ic melodic super-riffing to bone-chilling harsh vocals. We will meditate on death, and the church will be basking in the sonic anthems of impious lacerated melodies.
Never before has the Church of Riffs been closer to a portal to the underworld!

Sabbathians! GIVEAWAY TIME!

News from the crypt!

Høstsabbat and Aalborg's own Lasher Fest will bring the best of local bands to each others festival this year!

This team-up felt like an obvious from the get-go.
Aalborg and Denmark are teeming with talent, and so does Oslo and Norway.

From the frozen North we're sending Feral Nature and Voidspire to cross the Skagerrak to pillage and wreak havoc.
And from our Danish kin Lasher fest will send Embla and one more from their epic poster to be embraced by you Sabbathians!

Can you guess who?

More artists, one of them Danish of course, will be released soon!

And make sure to make the short trip to Aalborg the 19th and 20th of June. Two days packed to the brim with stellar bands!

From Himmerland to Oslo, from the Crypt and Church of Riffs to Skråen and 1000Fryd, see you there!

Monolord 🦉
This wicked trio from Västra Götaland is back in Oslo! With a new album out May 29th Monolord hits harder than ever. It's rawer, it's darker, it's phenomenal!
Our recommendation of the day, check out their newest, "It's Neverending" with ex-Entombed and Grave vocalist Jörgen Sandström killing it on vocals.

Khemmis ⚔️
The Denver outfit, mixing heavy metal with doom, sprinkled with some death metal pzazz, makes their Norwegian debut at Høstsabbat!

Embla 💥
You may have seen Martin Nielskov hanging from the rafters last year, in an absolute mayhem of a show from John Cxnnor. This year he's bringing his post-metal/post-hardcore band in Embla from Copenhagen to the Church of Riffs!

Dune Sea 🏜
Big, bald and brash. These Nidarosdoomian ruffians muster up the best of psych filled cosmic heavy metal. If you like Elder, King Buffalo and Mars Red Sky, these guys are gonna take you to the top of the Tyholt-tower, and further into space!

Cult Member 😈
Coming strong of their incredible 2025 album GORE and a Spellemann nomination, we're bringing Cult Member back.
This is gonna be a different gig, nothing you've seen before from our favorite crossover hardcore trashy northerners! Stay tuned for more info on this particular set.
